The U.S. Department of Education Student Financial Aid Office offers information on types of financial aid and how to apply for aid so that you can go to college! Topics covered include:

The U.S. Department of Education also offers aNet Price Calculator Center. Students can search for any college and enter information about themselves to find out what students of similar backgrounds paid to attend the institution the previous year, after taking scholarships and grants into account. In general, this worksheet is a great way to compare the costs of several colleges.
BigFuture is a great resource for everything related to college preparation. The website also features a Scholarship Search where students can look for a specific scholarship or submit information about themselves to see what scholarships they are eligible for. Need help navigating several financial aid packages? BigFuture offers a Comparison Tool that allows students to look at up to four schools at once and evaluate the costs of attendance with the financial aid packages they have been offered.
