This year marks the centennial of America’s entrance into World War I, November 11, 1919. Middletown’s leaders dedicated a monument at the Four Corners or Cochran Square, honoring four local servicemen who died in that war. In 1,000 to 2,500 words (double spaced), select one of the four men and tell how his name came to be on the monument. Research at the Middletown Historical Society is encouraged.
